MWF Regional Structure

The boundaries for these regions correspond with the boundaries of the NHS Deaneries. (see Deanery tab)

Regions and Local Associations

The Medical Women’s Federation is a National Organisation. The headquarters are in London (Central Office is in Tavistock Square). The membership is also divided into Regions and within these regions there are smaller local groups called Local Associations. Some Local Associations meet up regularly throughout the year but others do not.

Listed below are the 12 regional groups and the active Local Associations. Each region has a representative (Council member) who can vote on behalf of that region at the MWF National Council meetings which are held bi-annually (May and November). London due to its membership size has 2 Council members. There are also nominated alternate council members in case the Council member is unavailable.
