Medical Student Prize
MWF
is sponsoring a £50 prize in participating medical schools throughout
the UK. The MWF offers a prize to every Medical School in UK. However, not
all Medical Schools take up the prize. If your medical school does not do
so please encourage them...it's free!! Please ask the University Awards Office
to contact us. Please
note that MWF is not responsible for the decisions regarding the successful
applicant and enquiries should be made to your own university awards office.
If you wish to find out whether your medical school is participating, or are
an MWF member and would beinterested in presenting the prize at your local
medical school, please e-mail admin.mwf@btconnect.com.
Elective Bursaries
Small
grants of £50-£200 are awarded to female medical students to assist
them with elective costs. The deadline is mid-January for electives taking
place that year – we cannot fund retrospectively. Please note that MWF
members are given priority and there will be some geographical spread to the
awards. Application forms will be available on this website and from central
office from October.
