Our meeting “Reaching the Work-Life Balance” focuses on women doctors’ careers, especially on issues such as training and the European Working Time Directive, women in academic medicine, problems with flexible training, women and pensions, and pregnancy and maternity issues.

ABSTRACTS
Abstracts (maximum 250 words) are invited on any subject of interest to
women doctors, related either to the theme of the conference, to the health
of women or their families, or to women doctors’ careers, for presentation
or as a poster.
Deadline for abstract submission: Friday 17th October 2008
The ELIZABETH GARRETT ANDERSON PRIZE will be awarded for the best abstract presentation.
Council Meeting (open to all members) will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Lincoln’s Inn Fields from 10.00 am -1pm on Saturday 15th November.
Social Programme: Gala dinner at The Royal College of Surgeons on Friday evening 14th November 2008.
