Today is National Fitness Day, and to celebrate we welcome you to join us to take part in the 2019 Cancer Research UK London Winter Run on Sunday 3rd of February 2019 to raise vital funds for the Medical Women’s Federation.

The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is a 10k challenge through the heart of the city, passing world famous landmarks, and instantly recognisable areas that have been taken over by winter creatures.

Since the first event in 2015, over 65,000 people have taken part in raising over £2,000,000 for Cancer Research UK and other good causes. It regularly receives incredible reviews from those who have taken part.

The 2019 event takes place on Sunday 3rd February 2019, starting from Trafalgar Square and finishing on Whitehall by Downing Street.

You don’t have to be a fast runner nor do you have to have run a 10k before. Friends and family who want to run with you are very welcome on our team.

Your place in the race will be £32 (+booking fee) per person, with a pledge to raise a minimum of £250 for MWF. Your fundraising will go towards the creation of a number of grants and prizes to support our medical student and junior doctor members.

If you would like to join MWF’s President and runner, Dr Henrietta Bowden-Jones and be part of the team then email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Places are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
